These Terms & Conditions govern your use of new.dyrkframes.com and the engineering services provided by Dyrk Frames (“Dyrk Frames”, “we”, “us”). By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Where a signed proposal or contract exists for a project, that document takes priority over these general terms.
1. Our services
Dyrk Frames provides Light Gauge Steel (LGS) and Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) engineering services, including structural design, FrameCAD modelling, shop drawings, CNC machine files, structural calculations, BIM and IFC coordination, quantity take-offs and related support. The exact scope, deliverables, fees and timeline for each project are defined in our written proposal.
2. Quotes and proposals
- Quotes are based on the information and drawings you provide. If the scope, drawings or requirements change, the fee and timeline may change.
- Quotes are valid for the period stated in the proposal, or 30 days if no period is stated.
- Work begins once the proposal has been accepted in writing and any agreed advance payment has been received.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide complete, accurate and current drawings, design criteria, site data and project requirements.
- Tell us the applicable design standards, local codes and any authority requirements for the project location.
- Review our deliverables promptly and inform us of any discrepancy before fabrication or construction.
- Obtain any permits and approvals required for your project.
4. Engineering scope and reliance
Our designs, calculations and drawings are prepared for the specific project and information supplied, and are not to be used for any other project. Site conditions, workmanship, materials and installation are outside our control; the builder, installer or site engineer is responsible for verifying dimensions and conditions on site. Where local regulations require a locally registered engineer to review or certify the design, the client is responsible for arranging this unless it is included in our proposal.
5. Revisions
Each proposal states the number of revisions included. Changes caused by new information, design changes or scope changes after work has started may be charged as additional work.
6. Fees and payment
Fees, payment stages and currency are set out in the proposal. Deliverables such as final drawings, models and CNC machine files may be released after payment of the related invoice. Late payments may delay delivery of remaining work.
7. Intellectual property
All drawings, models, calculations, CNC files and documents we produce remain the intellectual property of Dyrk Frames until paid in full. After full payment, the client receives a licence to use them for the specific project they were prepared for. They may not be reused, resold or modified for other projects without our written permission.
8. Confidentiality
We keep your project information and files confidential and use them only to deliver your project. We may show general, non-identifying images of completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Dyrk Frames is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for issues arising from inaccurate information supplied by the client, changes made to our deliverables by others, or deviations from our drawings during fabrication or construction. Our total liability for any project is limited to the fees paid for that project, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Use of this website
- Website content, including text, graphics and illustrations, belongs to Dyrk Frames and may not be copied without permission.
- Articles and resources on this website are for general information only and are not a substitute for project-specific engineering advice.
- Do not upload files that contain malware or that you do not have the right to share.
- We may update or change the website at any time without notice.

13. Governing law
